Music at Trinity Lutheran Church

  • Trinity’s Cherubs combine singing and handchimes to praise God every Wednesday, and on Sundays in worship. This group of Kindergarten through 3rd graders will work to recognize their unique musical gifts, and will meet in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays from 4:45 to 5:30.
  • Campana, latin for “little bells” is the handbell and vocal choir for those in 4th through 8th grade. This group will work on strengthening their musical skills and prepare for Sunday worship services. They will rehearse in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays from 3:45 to 4:45.
  • Little Ones to Him Belong is designed specifically with the child aged 6 months to 4 years in mind. We know that Jesus loves children, and we extend that love on to them in a 30 minute weekly music time that allows young children to explore their voices and their bodies through movement and song. An intentional sequence of songs and rhythms are designed to nurture the growth of vocabulary and musical aptitude. Those interested in this group are asked to let the church office or the Director of Music know, as space will be limited. The class will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 in the choir room. Further information is readily available from the Director of Music.
  • Tinntinnabula, latin for “big bells” is the handbell choir for anyone grades 9 and up. This group will contribute regularly to Sunday worship, and a background in music is not necessary to join. We will meet in the Sanctuary on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7pm.
  • The Trinity Choir invites all voices from grade 9 up to praise God through song. This group will sing regularly in worship, and prepare both choral anthems and to lead the congregation’s song. Your willingness to make a joyful noise is the only prerequisite! Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm. (High Schoolers come for the first half of rehearsal and then go to Youth Group if you wish.)

Additional information can be found on the Music Board upstairs. We hope you will consider joining us!
